3 sticks melted butter
1 ½ cups sugar
1 ½ cups bread crumbs
1 pkg phyllo dough sheets

Cheese Filling...
1-8oz cream cheese pkg, at room temperature
½ cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 can/jar Cherry Pie Filling, optional
1-8oz cream cheese pkg, at room temperature
½ cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 can/jar Cherry Pie Filling, optional
Instructions
Brush phyllo sheets with butter and sprinkle with crumb/sugar mixture. Make 4 layers of phyllo sheets. Don't butter or sprinkle crumb/sugar mixture on the top sheet.
Mix ingredients together with a mixer and spread down the center of the phyllo dough. If you are using the Cherry Pie Filling, put a bit down the center of the cream filling. Do not over-fill. Fold the left side over the filling and then the right over the top. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle on a bit of the crumb/sugar mixture. Bake for 20 minutes at 350°.
When you cut it it will crumble...that's what Phyllo Dough is...crumbly and yummy!
